Bogus case: DSP, 10 others booked in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: People’s Colony police Wednesday registered a case against their own circle officer DSP Ehsan Ullah Shad, his PSO Syed Ghulam Ghaus, SHO Sajid Shaheed Police Station, Sargodha, Nasrullah Khan, Sub-inspector M Shafi, ASI Zahid Ali and six others for allegedly entangling a citizen of Lahore in a bogus case and abducting him. According to complainant M Saleem, he is running business in Urdu Bazaar Lahore, and had business transactions with Sheikh Zahid Ali of Lahore, Khurram Ayyaz of Faisalabad and others. He said two cases of embezzlement had already been registered against Sh Zahid and Khurram with Gowalmandi, Lahore police station. DSP Ehsan Ullah was putting pressure on him and extending favour to the accused persons, he alleged.
