PESHAWAR: The Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority (PkHA) has requested commuters and motorists to use diversion route and Haripur Bypass Road
after a portion of the Haripur-Beer Bridge collapsed recently. A handout from the PkHA said the authority took instant necessary safety measures for commuters by installing diversion sign boards and taking other traffic regulating steps on the site soon after the part of the bridge collapsed.
It added that the PkHA had launched work forthwith to construct a diversion route to get the traffic flowing through the diversion constructed on the river bed.
