Youth dies, another hurt in accident

HAFIZABAD: A youth was killed while another injured in an accident near Bhoon Kalan village on Monday.
Qamar, s/o Malik Muhammad Afzal, and his friend Azeem were on their way by a bike when a donkey-cart coming from opposite direction hit their bike. As a result, both bikers were injured and shifted to a hospital where Qamar succumbed to injuries.
SUSPECT HELD: Police on Monday arrested a suspect from the DHQ Hospital on Monday.
Ali Zulqarnain of Shahra-e-Farooq-e-Azam, clad in a burqa, was trying to enter the hospital when the DCO along with other officers came for distribution of gifts among the patients. In the meantime, a security guard of the hospital caught the suspect and handed him over to the police.
OBITUARY: The mother of Government Degree College Prof Muhammad Idrees died after a brief illness at Mohallah Usman Ganj here on Monday.
Scores of people attended her funeral prayers. Later, she was buried at Railway Line Graveyard.
