FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, will organise a five-day Book Fair from March 24 (today) while its 22nd Convocation 2015 will be held on March 26.
The Book Fair will be held at the main library and it will continue till March 28 in which publishers from across the country will set-up their stalls. UAF Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan will inaugurate the event at 10am. The books of all disciplines will be available on subsidised rate in the fair. Moreover, the 22nd Convocation of the UAF will be held at D Ground of the university at 11am on March 26. The Punjab governor/chancellor will chair the event. As many as 3,323 students will be awarded degrees and medals during the convocation. Meanwhile, a three-day flower show will start at the UAF from March 26 in which spring flowers will be displayed at the Faculty of Agriculture. The students of the UAF and the other organisations will arrange the flowers. On the demand of the people, the UAF administration has extended the date of ongoing spring festival till March 26.
