Dacoits continue looting spree

GUJRANWALA: Dacoits took away cash, gold ornaments, cell phones and other valuables in 23 incidents here on Sunday.
Two bandits stopped Shamshad and his wife near White Palace and snatched gold ornaments and cash. Two dacoits looted Rs 3,000 and a cell phone from Qaisar at Aroop. Dacoits took away cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from Abdul Rauf and his wife at Garden Town. Two bandits snatched Rs 7,000 and a cell phone from Nasir near Samanabad. Two dacoits intercepted Umair and his wife on Noshera Road and looted gold ornaments and cash. Bandits stopped Tauseef and his wife at Jalil Town and snatched gold ornaments and cash. Dacoits took away Rs 200,000 and a cell phone from Sharif at Satellite Town. Two bandits snatched Rs 3,000 and a cell phone from Chand at Abdullah Colony. Two dacoits looted a new motorbike from Shehzad near Hina Marriage Hall. Bandits snatched a motorcycle and cash from Asim at Mohallah Raitanwal. Two dacoits snatched a new motorbike from Khurram at Sabzi Mandi. Two dacoits took away a motorcycle from Munawar at Muslim Town. Two bandits snatched a motorcycle from Ilyas near Rustam Marriage Hall. Thieves broke into the shop of Yousuf on Kashmir Road and took away Rs 10,000 and other valuables. Thieves broke into the shop of Zulfiqar at Uggochak village and made off with valuables. Thieves stole motorcycles of Yousaf, Shoaib, Adnan, Faisal, Ali Faisal, Zeeshan, Khalil and Farhan from different parts of the city.
BODY FOUND: An unidentified dead body of a man was found from a road at Gakhar on Sunday.
Gakhar police have sent the body to a hospital for post-mortem.
