DPO penalises cops

BHAKKAR: Bhakkar DPO Agha Muhammad Yusuf Saturday penalised several police officers for showing negligence in their duty.
The DPO punished the cops after holding an inquiry and completing disciplinary proceedings.
The DPO halted promotion of SI Muhammad Nawaz for one year, ASI Sabir Husain for two years and constables and head constable Ahmed Nawaz, Eijaz Ahmed for a year each.
He dismissed constables Ghulam Husain and Ghulam Ahmed from service.
The DPO issued a warning to ASI Fayaz Ahmed, constables Mureed Abbas, Hameedullah, Muhammad Arif and Muhammad Saleem.
