SWABI: A girl student was killed and three others injured when boundary wall of a school collapsed here on Saturday, police said. The incident occurred in Government Girls’ Primary School, Sherdil Banda. Due to lack of rooms for students’ accommodation, the teachers had built a hut where the junior students were studying. Police said the students were busy in study when the wall suddenly collapsed, resulting in the killing of one girl identified as Gulalai Khan (8). The injured included Zimal Begum (7) and Nishad Khan (6) and the name of third girl could not be ascertained. The injured were taken to Shahmansoor Hospital Complex. The doctors there said that their condition was stable. Meanwhile, officials of the district administration visited the institution and hospital to sympathise with the students’ parents.
