GHAZI: An eighth grade student of the Wapda Cadet College in Tarbela tehsil in Haripur was allegedly killed by his class-fellows, police sources said on Saturday. The sources said the students were rehearsing for a function late Friday night when they exchanged harsh words with their classmate Haseeb Iqbal over a petty issue. Haseeb belonging to Mardan district was beaten to death during a subsequent scuffle, the sources added.
Following the incident, the police reached the scene and shifted the body of the slain student to a hospital for autopsy. The police also arrested the five accused.
