Tayyab claims U-15 National Squash crown
LAHORE: Tayyab Rauf of Punjab beat M. Hamaza of KPK to claim the under-15 title in the First Punjab National Junior Squash Championship 2018 here at Punjab Squash Complex Lahore on Saturday. The finals were witnessed by a large number of crowed. Chief Guest of the final was CEO Diamond Paint Mir Shoaib Ahmed, President Punjab Squash Association Dr. Nadeem Muktar, Treasurer Tariq Siddique Malik, Rep from Gujranwala Dr Faisal Khan, coaches and staff of PSA Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Asim, Muhammad Arshad, Sohaib Masood, Muhammad Shahid and many others were also present at that moment. The final was entirely a one-sided affair as Tayyab Rauf of Punjab dominated from first set. In 2nd and 3rd games, Muhammad Hamaza of KPK made efforts for a comeback but was foiled by Tayyab Rauf who won the title in 30 minutes. The final score is 11/6, 11/9, 13/11. In under-13 final, Usman Nadeem of Punjab beat Anus Bukhari of Punjab by 13/11, 9/11, 12/14, 11/7, 11/1 (41 minutes) in five set game. In under-11 final Abdullah Nawaz of KPK beat Abdullah Nadeem Punjab by 11/7, 11/8, 5/11, 11/8 and won the title.
