IIU to launch Islamic training programmes in Gilgit-Baltistan
Islamabad: The International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad has planned to launch Islamic training programmes in Gilgit-Baltistan.The plan was shared by IIU President Dr. Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh with Gilgit-Baltistan Information and Tourism Minister Inayatullah Shumali, who called on him in his office here on Friday.Member of the National Assembly Shaikh Fiazuddin

Islamabad: The International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad has planned to launch Islamic training programmes in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The plan was shared by IIU President Dr. Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh with Gilgit-Baltistan Information and Tourism Minister Inayatullah Shumali, who called on him in his office here on Friday.
Member of the National Assembly Shaikh Fiazuddin were also present in the meeting.
On the occasion, Inayatullah said the IIU was providing quality education to the youth of Muslim Ummah.
He said he remained student of IIU in a Dawah Academy course of Regional Languages in 2007.
The minister said Gilgit-Baltistan was famous for its natural beauty while he also invited the IIU president to have a visit of GB.
Talking about the Pak-Saudi relations, Inyatullah said that Saudi Arabia is elder brother of Pakistan and sad demise of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz has saddened the hearts of people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh said that Faculty of Arabic and Dawah Academy are working on launching more training
programmes in which inclusion of the participants
from Gilgit-Baltistan would
be encouraged. He apprised that IIU and Ministry of Religious Affairs have jointly launched a course for Arabic training. He said Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf is participating in the course as a participant.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh also invited both the ministers to attend the upcoming international conference on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Seerah which would be held in April this year at IIU Islamabad.
Later, the guests also visited Islamic Research Institute of the university where they met its Director General Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Haq and also visited press of the in-
stitute.
