Soldier injured in IED blast

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A soldier was injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast here on Wednesday, police said.

They said that unidentified persons had planted improvised explosive device (IED) near the police checkpoint adjacent to the Baisaki Ground here that went off at 10am.

Saadullah, a soldier of the Frontier Constabulary (FC), sustained injuries in the blast while the policemen remained unhurt. The police launched a search operation in the area after the blast.
