Pakistan to host SAF Soccer
LAHORE: South Asian Football Federation congress held in Dhaka approved Pakistan as the host of the SAF Football Championship 2020.
In the congress Pakistan was represented by PFF president Syed Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat. Football officials from Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka were also present at the congress, which was presided over by incumbent BFF and SAFF President Kazi Muhammad Salahuddin. The congress also approved the conduct of the SAF Under-15 boys championship 2019 and Under-19 Women Championship 2021 in Pakistan. Meanwhile Syed Khadim Ali Shah, senior vice president PFF has been elected as senior vice president of SAF for the next four year term. will also President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin was elected President of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) for the 3rd term in a row. He was declared elected unopposed in a SAFF congress held at the Surma Hall of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital as there was no any other candidate.
