Bahria Football Cup kicks off
LAHORE: 3rd Bahria Cup Football Tournament 2018 kicked off under the auspices of Bahria Town Sports Wing at Bahria Football Academy Rose Garden on Tuesday.
Mrs Saman Lodhi Principal Message Grammar School Izmir Town Lahore was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the tournament. Fakhar Ali Shah, Director Sports Bahria Town, welcomed the chief guest. Saleem Ahmad Khan, Manager Bahria Football Academy, Shahid Raza and international baseball player Tariq Nadeem were also present on this occasion. Two matches of girls were played on the opening day. The first match was played between Bahria Blue and Orange. Bahria Orange won the match by a narrow margin of 1-0.
The only goal of the match was scored by Fatima. The second match was played between Bahria Orange and Green. Green team thrashed Bahria Orange by 2-0. Minahil and Tashbeeh Fatima struck one goal each for Green team.
