ISLAMABAD: Zain Abbas struck century (103) as Multan took firm grip of Quai-i-Azam Trophy (QAT) Grade II match against Quetta at Multan Stadium. Courtesy to Zain Multan hit 288 for 9 in first innings and then reduced Quetta to 86 for 3 in second innings. Quetta hit up 173 while batting first.
Scores: Quetta Region 173 in 64.1 overs (Nizam-ud-Din 51, Shahzad Tareen 24, Sadaf Mehdi 3-35, Zulfiqar Babar 3-61, Zia-ul-Haq 2-32) and 86-3 in 33 overs: (M. Shahzad Tareen 45, Bismillah Khan 26, Zulfiqar Babar 2-27), Multan Region 288-9 decl in 80 overs (Zain Abbas 103, Abdul Rehman Muzammil 84, Mohiuddin 5-52, M. Shahzad Tareen 2-35).
