Contesting election won’t be easy: Zardari

NAWABSHAH: PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that this election would be difficult and workers should prepare for it. He was addressing members of parliament and party workers at the Zardari House on Sunday. He said contesting election will not be easy for him. He said that he will fight with the power of people.
He said that establishing relation was easy but taking vote was a difficult task. Bilawal Bhutto has become 100pc leader and is now our leader. Zardari said that they would not allow to end the 18th Amendment. He said that the PPP faced martial laws but a drama was staged by stopping us through the RO elections and was shown that the PPP had no popularity in Punjab, Balochistan and KP. He said that the PPP believes in the rights of women and for that reason, Sherry Rehman was made the opposition leader in the Senate. He said that during his tenure, the government treasury was full but it was now empty. "We are fighting for our generations as our children would remain in Pakistan while their children are residing in foreign countries." He said that it was the era of social media and whatever happening in the world was being recorded.
Zardari said that his MNA sister Dr Azra Fazal is preparing to retire but we will not permit her to do so and will get her elected on special seat. He said the PPP made Nawabshah an educational city and the first-ever girls' cadet college was established here that involved the role of his sisters. Zardari said that his life and death belongs to the people of Nawabshah. MNA Dr Azra Fazal Pechohu also addressed on the occasion.
