Hyderabad Region trounce Dera Murad Jamali
KARACHI: Hyderabad Region defeated Dera Murad Jamali by eight wickets on the second day of their Group B fixture of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Grade-II here at the KCCA Stadium on Thursday.
After taking 16 runs lead, DM Jamali perished for 91 in their second innings to set 108 runs target for Hyderabad, who achieved it in the 22nd over after losing two wickets. Azeem Ghumman made 54.DM Jamali scored 183 in their first innings. Hyderabad were folded for 167.
Here at TMC Ground, Karachi Blues were 14 without loss while chasing 151 against Sialkot. Earlier, in response to Sialkot’s first innings total of 236, Karachi Blues were all out for 197 with Jaahid Ali making 58 and Ramiz Raja scoring 43.
Off-spinner Bilal Asif got 5-38, while Abdul Rehman got 4-65.Sialkot were all out for 111 in their second innings with left-arm spinner Mohammad Asghar claiming 8-34.
