Traders to stage sit-in against robberies in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: The traders’ community announced on Saturday to observe a sit-in outside the office of the district police officer against growing incidents of robberies.
In this connection, a meeting of the traders was held with Iftikhar Hussain in the chair and attended by Mian Mufariq Shah and Lal Muhammad Lal.
They said that robberies and other crimes were on the rise in the district. Police had failed to provide security to the people, they added.
They said that the protesters would march from Farooq Azam Chowk to DPO office and observe sit-in for an indefinite period on Monday.
