Militant, 10 suspects arrested in Kohat

KOHAT: The police on Friday arrested an alleged militant and 10 other suspected persons in a search operation in the district, police sources said. They said that the police conducted a search operation on information about the presence of a proclaimed offender in Nusratkhel area in Kohat.
The accused and his accomplices opened fired on the police in which a Constable Mehran Ahmad sustained bullet injuries. The arrested militant was identified as Abbas Khan. The police also arrested 10 other suspects and recovered arms from them. The arrested militant was shifted to the local police station where he was being interrogated.
