5 butchers held, 150kg meat of donkeys seized

OKARA: Veterinary Officer Dr Imran Khan along with Hujra Shah Muqeem police on Monday raided and arrested five butchers and recovered 150kg meat of donkeys from them.
On a tip-off, the police raided near Rajbah Rajowal and arrested Iftikhar, Fiqui, Faqir Ali, Muhammad Aslam and Muhammad Azam when they were removing skin of donkeys. The team also seized 150kg meat of donkeys from them. The police have registered a case.
BOOTLEGGER HELD WITH WINE: B-Division police on Monday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 18 litres wine from him.
On a tip-off, the police raided and arrested Faheem of Ahmadabad with 18 litres wine. The police have registered a case.
