Rafiq Club bag Fatima-Shah Hockey trophy

LAHORE: Rafiq Hockey Club, Farooqabad won the 7th annual Fatima-Shah Muhammad Memorial Hockey Tournament trophy by defeating Tariq Butt Hockey Club Manga Mandi 2-1 in the final. The tournament was organised by Promark, Paradise and Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison at Government Higher Secondary School, Farooqabad. Theme of the tournament was “Make Pakistan Polio Free/End Polio Now.” Eight tope regional teams participated in the tournament. Shan Irshad and Arslan Irshad from Rafiq Hockey Club were declared Man of the Match and Man of the Tournament respectively. Ch Iqbal, former minister of education, and Mubarik Ali Shahid, District Governor Rotary International Pakistan, were the guests of honour.
