LAHORE: The main round matches of men`s singles and under-18 boys category of the Sheheryar Malik National Grass Court Tennis Championship 2018 were played here at PLTA tennis courts Bagh-i-Jinnah. All the seeded players qualified for next round. Chief guest was Rashid Malik, Secretary Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA).

Results: In men`s singles top seed Aqeel Khan beat Ahmed Kamil by 6-1, 6-1,Barkat Ullah of KP beat Shakilullah by 6-1, 6-1,Muzamul Murtaza of Jehania beat Israr Gul of KP by 6-1, 6-1, Ijaz Khan beat M Hamad by 6-3, 6-3, Muhammad Zahid Mujahid of Sahiwal beat Ahmed Babar of Lahore by 6-2, 7-6, Heera Ashiq beat Asad ullah by 6-1, 6-1, Abdal Haider beat Fayaz Khan by 7-6, 6-4, Shahzad Khan beat Zariab Peerzada by 6-1, 6-1, Usman Rafiqe of Lahore beat Ikram ullah of Peshwar by 6-0, 6-1, Hassan Riaz beat Aqib Umer by 6-4, 6-4, Muhammad Abid beat Irfanullah by 6-3, 6-3, Yousaf Khan beat Nouman Aftab by 7-5, 6-4 and qualify for pre quarter-finals.
