Ghani tells Maryam...: Nawaz also responsible for disturbing Karachi peace
KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) central leader Saeed Ghani has said that former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was also responsible for hurting the law and order situation in Karachi.
Responding to the criticism of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz against the PPP regarding the holding of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 final in Karachi on Sunday, Saeed Ghani said that Maryam should not forget the role played by her father in the lawlessness of Karachi as he used to regard terrorists as his brothers. He said that Nawaz’s statements regarding the military operation in Swat were also on record. The PPP leader lashed out at Maryam for taking credit of all the positive things that were happening in the country and said that a day would come when she would claim that the Pakistan Resolution was also chalked out by her father. Saeed Ghani said that instead of politicking on sports, the political leadership should take a sigh of relief that international cricket was returning to the country.
