Police declare Gujranwala DC’s death suicide

GUJRANWALA: Police and other agencies have declared the death of deputy commissioner Sohail Ahmed Tipu a suicide. According to the forensic report, the incident was suicide and not murder, however, final forensic report will be received within five days.
Investigations officers have believed that the DC was allegedly under some pressure and committed suicide. The same report has been sent to the Punjab chief minister and other higher authorities. It was also told that due to extreme stress, Tipu had recently got his medical checkup from the DHQ hospital. Doctors had advised him the rest of 14 days to reduce stress.
