A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and comprising Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ijazul Ahsan heard the case. The chief justice observed that the head of Mithi hospital was also responsible for children’s death in Thar.
The additional advocate general told the court that three children died due to the expired vaccine given to them. “The staff of the hospital was found negligent and were suspended,” he said.
