Two murdered in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Two youth were murdered in separate incidents in Sahiwal and Mitha Tiwana police limits on Monday. Asmatullah of Jahanian Shah village was sleeping at outhouse when some unknown persons slaughtered him with the help of a sharp-edged weapon and fled.

In another incident, accused Fateh Khan, M Saleem, M Tasleem and Akhtar allegedly gunned down Muhammad Irfan of Dera Ahmad Yar over a quarrel during a volley ball match. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after postmortem. Police have registered separate cases and started investigation.

booked for fraud: On the orders of Anti-Corruption Establishment director, police have registered a case against two persons, including a Housing Department deputy director, over fraud charges. The Anti-Corruption Establishment authorities said on Monday that complainant Omar Hayat of Mangowal, Jauharabad, said in his application that Rana Mushtaq had allegedly occupied many precious plots of the Housing Department by preparing fake documents with the help of Housing Deputy Director Azhar Saeed Awan.
