Students urged to polish their entrepreneurial skills

FAISALABAD: The Directorate of Financial Assistance and the University Advancement, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and the State Bank of Pakistan organised a seminar on microfinance at Iqbal Auditorium here on Tuesday. The seminar was chaired by SBP DFSD Director Tasleem Qazi while SBP Faisalabad Chief Manager Waqas Kashif, UAF Financial Assistance Director Dr Hafeez Sadaqat, Deputy Chief Manager Muhammad Akbar, Management Training Officer Qamar Zaman, Dr Khalid Shauq and other notables attended the event. Tasleem Qazi said that we had to take measures to polish entrepreneurial skills among the student to become self-employed. He added that poverty and unemployment were the biggest challenges which we were facing. He said that with start-up companies, the students could become entrepreneurs that would help them to flourish in lives. He said that they were providing the microfinance for studies and business purposes.
