Aisam enters last 16 of Indian Wells tennis

LAHORE: Pakistani tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq has qualified for the pre-quarterfinals of the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament underway in USA. In the first round of the Men’s Doubles, Aisam-ul-Haq and his Italian partner Fabio Fognini beat Croatia’s Nikola Maktich and Austria’s Alexander Peya after a thrilling contest. The contest was won by 2, 6, 6, 3-10, 5. In the last 16, the Pak-Italian pair will face number 3 pair comprising Croatia’s Matt Pavic and Australia’s Oliver Marach.
