LALAMUSA: Two shoes were hurled at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan as he was addressing a public meeting in Gujrat; however he remained unhurt. One of the shoes hit PTI leader Aleem Khan who was standing alongside him at the stage.
The PTI chief had just turned to face a different direction when a shoe came flying in, hitting Aleem squarely on his chest. A staff member immediately came in front of the PTI leader to cover him.
Minutes after the incident, Imran ended his speech and left the makeshift stage. Also, a scuffle broke out between the PTI workers during the rally. Some youngsters started brawling for unknown reasons. The footage clearly showed a group of partyworkers assaulting an individual. Following the brawl, other party workers intervened and managed to stop the scuffle. Reportedly, the individual was later escorted out of the premises.
