Gwadar knock out Chaman City in first quarter-final

KARACHI: Gwadar ensured their slot in the semi-finals of PPL Balochistan Football Cup as they defeated strong Chaman City by 1-0 in a thrilling first quarter-final at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh) in Quetta on Monday.
The decisive goal was scored by Sohaib during the second half after a series of attacks made by them. In the last two matches of the final round, DFA Chaman beat Dukki 1-0, while Kharan achieved an easy win over Kacchi by 4-1.
DFA Chaman’s Mohammad Hanif and Mohammad Kaseem from Kharan were declared men of the match.The remaining quarter-finals will be played between defending champions Panjgur, Kharan, Quetta City, DFA Quetta, Dukki and runners-up of 2017 tournament DFA Chaman.
