Ink thrown on CM’s hoardings, banners in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Some unidentified people threw ink on the welcome banners and hoardings of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif displayed at Pindi Bypass Flyover here. The PML-N local leaders had displayed banners and hoarding in connection with the visit of Shahbaz Sharif to Gujranwala on March 11.
DEMO: Residents of Township on Friday staged a demonstration in front of the DC Office against unavailability of basic facilities in there area. The protesters chanted slogans against the administration of the scheme and alleged that the GDA officers had approved the said scheme without ensuring the basic facilities like sewerage and drainage in the area.
