Bilawal meets Raza Rabbani
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani in Islamabad on Friday following Raza Rabbani discharges his duties as Chairman Senate.
The meeting took place in the backdrop of recent political developments revolving around Senate elections. In the meeting the PPP Chairman praised Raza Rabbani’s services to the party.
Raza Rabbani assured the PPP Chairman to continue to play an active political role in whatever position party leadership assigns him.
Earlier, after Mian Raza Rabbani discharged his duties as Chairman Senate, he avoided to talk with the media about differences with Asif Ali Zardari. When a journalist asked him whether he would take oath as Senator on March 12, Mian Raza Rabbani avoided the question and did not respond it but only said he will come in the Parliament House on March 12 then will talk.
When another journalist posed a question whether he would accept the offer if he was nominated as chairman again by his party, Mian Raza Rabbani did not respond this question saying good-bye to all the journalists and went away.
