Women Basketball final today

LAHORE: Hosts Kinnaird College for Women (KCW) defeated their old rivals in sport Punjab University (PU) in a sensational mach to qualify for the final of the All- Pakistan Inter-University Women Basketball Championship on Wednesday.

Kinnaird College will now face Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) in the final. LCU in its match defeated Agha Khan University Karachi with little trouble. The final will be played at 2 pm at Nishtar Park Sports Complex courts on Thursday. PU team will take on Agha Khan team for the third position match. Lahore College for Women University won by 25-7 score while Kinnaird College after going into a tough battle won by 32-36. Zeenat Ali of Kinnaid was later declared player of the match.
