Trials for Pakistan disabled cricket team end

KARACHI: The three-day trials of Pakistan disabled cricket team for the Tri Nation Series to be held in England concluded at Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi.

A total of 29 cricketers participated in the trails. Chief selector Iqbal Imam with members Sabih Azhar, Mohammad Jawed and Ashraf observed the trials.Pakistan disabled cricket team is scheduled to feature in the series along with Bangladesh and hosts England in July.

Iqbal said that he was satisfied with the players who featured in the trials and that he expected a good show from them in the tournament.The selectors will finalise the squad after approval from President Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) Rashid Latif. The selected players will train in Karachi.
