Mardan paramedics to observe strike
MARDAN: The Paramedics Association Mardan chapter president Pervez Khan Sunday criticised the provincial government for not fulfilling their demands and announced to observed complete strike in all the healthcare institutions of the district on March 7 on the call of the provincial cabinet.
Addressing a office-bearers meeting of Paramedics Association, he urged the provincial government to implement their service structure forthwith. He added that it was basic right of senior paramedics to get promotion and other facilities. "The government should register the limited practice (first-aid centres) of qualified paramedics," he added.
He also alleged that the secretary of the Medical Faculty Board (MFB) was conspiring against the office-bearers of paramedics' association and teasing them.
