Four killed in Kohat clash
KOHAT: Four persons were killed in a clash between rival groups in Nawan Killay falling in the limits of the Cantonment Police Station on Thursday night, official sources said.
They said that MuhammadBilal, Muhammad Rauf, Muhammad Shafiq and Ihsanullah were present at a graveyard in Nawan Killay when Muhammad Qasim, Israr, Farooq and Jan Muhammad allegedly opened fire on them at around 10pm, killing them on the spot.
The bodies were taken to the Liaqat Memorial Hospital in Kohat for autopsy and later handed over to their families for burial. Taking prompt action, the police party, led by Inspector Muhammad Ali, arrested the accused and recovered two Kalashnikov rifles, two pistols and several cartridges from their possession. The accused were shifted to the police station concerned where cases against them were registered and further investigation was underway.
