Jialas will soon be president, PM, CMs: Zardari
OKARA: Former president of Pakistan and Co-chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has said that the day is not far when the president, prime minister and the chief ministers of the four provinces would be of the PPP.
He expressed these views while holding discussion with the office-bearers and workers belonging to Okara and Rawalpindi at the Bilawal House in Islamabadon Sunday.
Zardari said that they glorified the Supreme Court. He said that failed foreign policy of the incumbent government has tarnished the image of the country.
He claimed that the PPP had always glorified the image of the state institutions and held the Supreme Court in high esteem and added that they would snatch away Takht-e-Lahore this time. He said the PPP always believed in an independent foreign policy, which was the philosophy of Benazir Shaheed and her mission was to empower women. On the other hand, the government’s failed foreign policy tarnished the country’s image.
He said that their hands were tied in the 2013 elections and added that Bilawal had now entered the field. It was the mission of the PPP to eradicate terrorism, unemployment, ignorance and poverty. He said that in the eyes of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, every son of the country was Bilawal and every daughter of the country was Bakhtawar. He said that they all would fulfill the dreams of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
