IKF endorses Super Kabaddi League
KARACHI: The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) has endorsed Super Kabaddi League (SKL) that will take place in Pakistan this year, Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) said on Wednesday.
“Through an official letter addressed to Muhammad Sarwar Rana, Secretary PKF, Janardan Singh Gehlot, President IKF, has extended all out support to SKL,” a PKF press release said.Gehlot also gave the rights to SKL to use IKF’s logo for SKL Season-1.
SKL chairman Haider Ali Daud Khan said that the endorsement came as a breath of fresh air for the league. “This will allow SKL to bring players from various other countries,” he said. “The recognition of SKL by the IKF has enhanced the league’s scope beyond Pakistan’s boundaries which will also help in portraying a softer image of the country throughout the world,” Haider said.
