Three men were gunned down in two incidents reported in the metropolitan city on Wednesday. In one of the attacks, two traders were targeted in the Bin Qasim police precincts.
Omer Khan, 35, and Nawab Khan, 45, were at their electronic items shop situated near a union council office in the Naseerabad area of Gulshan-e-Hadeed when two men on a motorcycle arrived on the scene.
The pillion rider opened fire on the two shop owners, following which the suspects made their escape. The wounded men were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), where both of them succumbed to their injuries. They had suffered bullet wounds to their upper torso.
The investigators said it was too early to confirm or ascertain the motive behind the attack. They said the police would investigate the murder from all aspects, including enmity. Both the victims were residents of Gulshan-e-Hadeed.
In another incident, 32-year-old Aashiq Ali was gunned down by hitherto unidentified motorcyclists in Orangi Town’s Baloch Goth.
