PHC moved to transfer Asma case from Kohat to Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The brother of Asma Rani, a medical student from Kohat who was allegedly shot dead by a nephew of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's local leader for rejecting his marriage proposal, on Monday moved the Peshawar High Court (PHC) to seek the transfer of the case from Kohat to Peshawar. Asma Rani's brother Muhammad Irfan, whose family hails from Lakki Marwat and is presently living in Kohat, filed the application for transfer.
