Six labourers killed in FR Kohat mishap

KOHAT: Six labourers were killed when an under-construction structure collapsed in Jawaki, Frontier Region Kohat, on Sunday, official sources said. They said that one of the pillars of the under-construction Bab-e-Jawaki, FR Kohat, collapsed, leaving eight labourers trapped under the rubble.
The rescue workers retrieved six bodies and recovered two labourers in injured condition. The dead labourers were identified as Muhammad Bilal, Fazal Rehman, Amin, Zahid Noor and Karim Khan.
The injured labourers, Naimat Khan and Alif Khan, were shifted to a local hospital. The Rs25 million Bab-e-Jawaki is being constructed from the fund of Member National Assembly A Qaiser Jamal.
