Zardari blasted for ‘backing’ Rao Anwar
TANK: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Fata chief organiser Dost Mohammad Mahsud has condemned the latest statement of Pakistan People’s Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in which he reportedly defended former SSP Rao Anwar.
Talking to reporters here, the Mahsud tribal elder also appealed to the chief justice of Supreme Court to take notice of the contents of the interview of Asif Ali Zardari with a private television in which he has publicly defended the absconder police officer, who wanted by the court in connection with the extra-judicial killings of innocent Pakhtuns, including Naqeebullah Mahsud, in Karachi.
“There is enough evidence in this interview of the PPP leader against himself. I will request all the Pakhtuns to shun their political differences and differentiate between their friends and foes,” said Dost Mohammad Mahsud.
The tribal elder alleged that Mir Murtaza Bhutto was killed at the behest of Asif Zardari and demanded the Supreme Court to also open his murder case and expose his real face before the nation.
He made a passionate appeal to all Pakhtuns affiliated with the PPP to think about their present condition and quit the party in protest against Zardari’s anti-Pakhtun policies and patronising the killers of Pakhtuns in Sindh.
He said the murder of Naqeebullah Mahsud and hundreds of other innocent Pakhtuns by Rao Anwar in Karachi in the name of terrorism has sent a wave of shock among the Pakhtuns all over Pakistan. He demanded the chief justice to provide them justice.
