Pool matches conclude in9-a-side hockey
LAHORE: The pool matches of the 9-a-side Shezan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament concluded at the National Hockey Stadium, on Friday.The six sides were divided into two pools. Saeed Anwar team and Afzal Manna team topped their respective pools and would meet in the final on Saturday at 3pm. The 3rd/4th position play- off will be played held between Munir Dar team and Tanvir Dar team at 2pm and 5th/6th position play off is between Brigadier M.H. Atif team vs Ghulam Rasool team at 1pm. On Friday, Saeed Anwar team defeated Munir Dar team 2-0. Scorers: Hafiz Hammad nd Umair. Brig M.H. Atif team drew with Afzal Manna team 2-2. Scorers: Brig Atif team: Haseeb & Amir Ali. Afzal Manna team: Zeeshan Bukhari 2. Saeed Anwar team defeated Ghulam Rasool team 2-1. Scorers: Saeed Anwar team Rizwan & Abid Bhatti. Ghulam Rasool team: Murtaza Yaqoob.
