Atiqa, Hareem reach Dr Essa Table Tennis final

KARACHI: Atiqa Khan and Hareem Anwar qualified for the final of the women’s singles of the 6th Dr Essa Mohammad Ranking Table Tennis tournament here at the Islamia Club on Thursday.Atiqa beat Maria 3-1, while Hareem, who is part of Pakistan’s squad for the Commonwealth Games, whacked Iqra Saeed 3-2 in the semi-finals.The men’s singles quarter-finals and men’s singles semi-finals will be held on Friday (today).
