Widow appeals to PHC to give her justice

MARDAN: A widow on Tuesday appealed to the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court to provide her protection against the influential persons who killed her husband.
Talking to reporters at Mardan Press Club, Shabana Bibi, widow of Shahjehan hailing from Gujjar Garhi village, alleged that Abdul Sattar, son of Sultan Malik, a resident of Gujjar Garhi, killed her husband in May 2014.
She said the first information report was registered at the Saddar Police Station and later the Additional Sessions Judge, Mardan, Abid Sarwar declared the accused proclaimed offender in January 2016, and directed the police to arrest him.
