Peshawar beat Abbottabad in disabled T20 tournament
RAWALPINDI: Peshawar beat Abbottabad by 53 runs in the 6th National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship opener here at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Batting first, Peshawar scored 191-6 in 20 overs. Adil Khan (46), Azhar Khan (45), Wajid Alam (33), Hayat Khab (25) and Abdullah Afridi (17 not out) were the main scorers. Rehmat Ali (3-42) and Yasir Ali 2-31 bowled well for Abbottabad.
In reply, Abbottabad were restricted to 139-9 in the allotted overs. Faisal Hayat (48), Latif Ullah (27), Mohammad Hussain (24) and Owal Khan (19) were the key batsmen. Peshawar’s Mohammad Osama (3-17) and Gohar Ali (3-26) were the main wicket-takers.
