Nine-a-side hockey from tomorrow

LAHORE: A 9-a-Side Shezan Hockey Gold Cup is being held at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore from February 15-17.The event has been organised by Lahore’s two leading hockey nurseries, Dar Hockey Academy and Rana Zaheer Academy. The six competing teams have all been named after Pakistan’s hockey greats who are no more in this world i.e. Brig Manzoor Hussain Atif, Munir Ahmad Dar, Chaudhry Ghulam Rasool, Tanveer Ahmad Dar, Saeed Anwar and Afzal Manna.
