Talal granted one more week to hire lawyer

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday granted one more week to Minister of State for Interior Affairs Talal Chaudhry to engage a counsel in contempt case. Chaudhry appeared before the court and submitted that he had engaged his counsel for pleading his case but she passed away; hence, he needs more time to engage a new counsel. At this, the court allowed him to engage a new counsel and adjourned the hearing till January 19.
