Kasur DPO ordered to recover girl in five days
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Friday dismissed DPO Kasur report about missing of a 15-year old girl and directed him to recover and produce the girl within five days.
Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi was hearing a petition of a woman seeking recovery of her daughter Guryia. The petitioner said her daughter went missing couple of weeks ago but the police instead of searching her were making lame excuses.
Pursuant to court’s order, DPO Kasur appeared before the court and stated that petitioner and her daughter were facing charges of stealing animals. He pointed out that missing girl’s real name is Sajida.
Rejecting the report, the court remarked that Kasur city had topped the list in immorality. City is facing Allah’s wrath as innocent girls were brutally murdered after being raped, but no one paid heed to them.
