CJP takes notice of encroachment by lawyers

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar Monday took suo motu notice of alleged encroachment on the football ground in Sector F-8 and directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to furnish a report within three days.
The CJP took notice after the print and social media highlighted the issue. As per reports, a number of lawyers have set up their chambers at the football ground adjacent to F-8 lower courts. The CDA served eviction orders on the lawyers but they managed to secure a stay from the court.
