Haripur-Mansehra Motorway to be completed by May
MANSEHRA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Member National Assembly (MNA) Captain (Retd) Mohammad Safdar has said that Haripur to Mansehra section of the Hazara Motorway being built under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would be completed within the next three months.
"We expect that work on the Hazara Motorway would be completed in May this year up to Mansehra. This strategically important artery would bring prosperity in the life of people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan," the MNA told reporters here.
Muhammad Safdar, the son-in-law of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif, said the work on motorway from Haripur to Mansehra was in full swing. He hoped after its completion, the traffic issue would come to an end and a new era of development and prosperity would usher in. "We have launched mega development schemes in division as natural gas is being supplied to Pakhal, Tanawal and other parts in district which are still deprived of this facility," said Safdar.
